What We Believe

Every one of us has some form of faith, a system of belief that drives us. And the values, morals, worldview, goals, motives, hopes and dreams that emerge from our beliefs will largely determine what we do from minute to minute, day to day.

If this is true of us individually, it is also true of us collectively. Communities express themselves in certain ways due to the beliefs the participants hold in common. Within our Dope Church community we strive to have clarity around what we hold to be true, since it will shape our priorities and actions in Tacoma and beyond.

The documents below describe the core truths we hold to be true. It is our hope and prayer that we will, over time, come to believe these truths more and more deeply, and therefore learn to live more faithfully in the world in light of them.
