Well, there you have it friends and family, the last day of the year, and the last of the 12 Days of Dope Church!

Pastor Chris here: I think you'll really like the people featured in today's interview 😊 I had to do it! I chose my favorite people in the world to wrap up the 12 Days of Dope Church. Many of you know these ladies, but some of you don't. They've been part of our community since the very beginning and have been so important to our church as we've developed and grown. On the eleventh day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us... our sister and friend, Penny!!

Penny is our neighbor, friend, and sister, and she is a survivor! We love her for all sorts of reasons, one of which is she has a heart to help others who, like her, are living on the streets. Whenever we are together, Penny is thinking about what ways she can bless people when she returns home. We love her, and think you will too!

On the tenth day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us... Krystal, Elijah, and their two amazing kids!!

Elijah and Krystal are a gift to our church family. They have love, passion, and a deep commitment for Jesus and his love being known everywhere! It is pretty sweet how the Lord brought us together. They have done quite a bit of street ministry in Baltimore, sharing the gospel, meeting needs, and praying for peoples’ freedom in Jesus’ name.

On the ninth day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us... Don, Molly, and Zach!!

Don and his street team have been faithfully serving at the Tacoma Stability Site for years! Week in, week out they provide a home-cooked feast for the residents, and they never let us hear the end of it, in a good way! The fact is, it is a blessing that they have safe housing, but ours is the only consistent meal they can count on week-to-week.

On the eighth day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us... Ed!!

We met Ed out on the streets this summer, and he's been an important part of our church family since. We love him, and think you will as well! Life has brought plenty of challenges his way, and we grieve with him over that. But we are also learning together as a community how to trust Jesus daily, in the face of difficulties and pain, and Ed is an example to us in this.

On the seventh day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us, our dear friend and sister, Corny!!

We love all that Corny brings to the table. She makes us laugh, she shares wisdom with those around her, and she blesses others with her creativity and skill. She is amazing!

On the sixth day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us, our servant-hearted brother Jerome!!

Jerome has a heart to serve, and serve he does! You know what they say, the ones best suited to help others are those who have been through hell and come out the other side. Well that describes our brother Jerome. Life started out pretty tough for him, but Jesus changed him full stop, and now he’s using his gifts to bless and improve others’ lives!

On the fifth day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us, our friend and our brother, Ricky!!

Ricky has quickly become a dear brother and friend to us! We’ve known him for a few months now, and he always shows up with a cheerful and willing spirit. And that’s saying a lot, because life is hard in many ways for Ricky out on the streets.

On the fourth day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us, a Dori, and a Kit Kat, and a Chuck!!

We love this family. We've known them longer than almost anyone else on the streets, and it's been a real gift to see them grow within our church family!

Kit, Dori, and Chuck recently moved into a trailer to make things easier over the winter, but frankly, it's still tough on them. Please pray that the work they are doing to find safe housing bears fruit!

On the third day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us, our sister Chai, she's the best!!!

Chai is amazing. She has been through the fire and come out ready to bless and serve others! We benefit often from the love and good flavors she puts in meals she cooks. Her life is a resurrection story, and we're so happy to be part of it! Please keep Chai and her loved ones in your prayers.

On the second day of Dope Church, our True Love gave to us, a guy full of laughs, his name's Fred!!

We love Fred, he really cracks us up every time we're together. He brings so many great gifts to the table. He loves to serve, has a heart for the Lord, and we love him. How great is it that you get to meet him too? The wonders of technology!

Alright folks, here it is, our first installment of The 12 Days of Dope Church! The star of the screen tonight is AJ.

We've spent time with her here and there over the years as we've served out on the streets, but it wasn't until this past year that she became an integral part of our Dope Church family. We love her, and we're pretty certain she feels the same. She loves to serve great meals, laugh with us, and be sassy occasionally. OK... more than occasionally!
